28 Romantic Ideas

As February, the month of LOVE, rolls around, I decided to come up with a list of 28 Romantic ideas for you and your sweetheart!  Enjoy!

1. Call a local radio station and request a love song for your partner.  Make sure they'll be listening to catch it! (And check to make sure when it should air)
2. Make a custom gift certificate.  Good for one backrub, meal of their choice, or other treat!  This can also be put into a coupon book as a present.
3. Cook a romantic dinner, just for you and your sweetheart.  Make their favorite food.
4. Leave little love notes all over for them to find.  Heart shaped post it notes make this super easy!
5. Get your partner a wristwatch. Inscribe it with: "I always have time for you."
6. Go to a movie and convince your partner to sit in the back row and make out for the whole show.  Make sure it's one you or your partner don't really want to see!
7. Pretend you're going on a first date!  Flowers, a spiffy outfit, and a clean car.  The whole nine yards!

8. Give your sweetheart a scalp massage. It feels great and will be muchly appreciated.
9. Mail your sweetheart a love letter.  Make sure to decorate it with all the swirls and hearts.
10. Create a playlist of your partner's favorite songs.  Play it for them one evening while you relax together.
11. Bring home a special coffee or dessert that your partner loves.
12. Build an old-fashioned pillow fort, and invite your partner in for a picnic.
13. Call your partner at work... just to say I love you.
14. Take your partner to the top of the highest landmark around and shout how much you love him/her.
15. Schedule a mystery date and put it on their calendar. Let where you are going be a surprise.
16. Slip a little love note into their wallet for them to find later.
17.  Ask your partner to choose a number between one and twenty five.  Give them that many kisses.
18.  Ask the department store for a favor and page something sweet to your partner.
19.  Make a pizza with heart shaped designs.  This can also be done with cinnamon rolls!
20.  Write love notes on future dates in their calendar.  This works great if you can do it on their phone.
21.  Meet at your local park for a picnic one day during the week.  Bring a blanket and a basket of food.
22.  Leave a gift card to their favorite coffee shop on their car's seat in the morning.  Try to pick a morning when they have plenty of time.
23. Turn out the lights and spend an entire evening with just candles and flashlights.  This can be combined with a romantic dinner.
24.  Plan a treasure hunt around the house.  Choose a prize you know they will like... or perhaps you with a bow?
25.  Learn to say something sweet in a foreign language. Whisper it into their ear.
26. Find a four leaf clover and put it in a note that says "I got lucky when I found you!"
27. Send a care package to their work. Put in all of their favorite treats.
28. Say I Love You, the most romantic thing of all.
